The Taiko franchise's 15th Anniversary celebration is still going strong, and so is last year's Taiko x EXILE campaign! Find out after the jump where it's going to branch out next.

After the lottery campaign and the exclusive content for the main arcade line and the third Wii U videogame, the recently-released Taiko Plus STH is about to receive some collaboration love! From March throughout August this year, the in-game Lottery will feature the two EXILE-themed outfit as part of the prize lineup. Claim them before they're gone!

Another limited item for the campaign is the collaboration song DREAMERS' PARADISE, which can be downloaded for free during March only. Exclusive to the app is also a custom flair that occurs by playing this song with either the Mandy or the Makidai outfit: Don-chan will talk like the EXILE member in question! There's also a TV commercial available on Youtube to watch (link).

In addition to the Taiko Plus STH content, White Version arcade will also receive more collaboration goodies! From March 9th, the already-included DREAMERS' PARADISE will be the key for unlocking the aforementioned promo outfit and a couple of brand-new Petit Charas of Makidai and Mandy.

ぷちキャラMAKIDAI & ぷちキャラ関口メンディー

On top of that, there will be a 2nd Taiko x Exile lottery campaign for arcade players, featuring custom shower sets/Banapassports/Tote bags as rewards! Please visit the lottery's website for more details and another commercial for the arcade campaign.

It's arcade version update time yet again! See with us today's newly-introduced song quintet.

Dokkin♦ Mahou Tsukai PreCure! (Dokkin♦ 魔法つかいプリキュア!) (1/2/4/5; Kantan Papa Mama Support; 345 notes on Oni)

The latest of the PreCure songs on Taiko fares on the easy side of Oni modes once again, with easy-to-read 1/16 note patterns and a dash of mono-color clusters and 1/12 spacing to slightly spice things up.

QUESTION Assassination Classroom (3/5/6/7; 450 notes on Oni)

Skipping the 2nd opening theme right ahead (which still got some representation in the third Taiko Wii U game), White Version lodges the Assassination Classroom anime's 3rd opening theme with another 7-star Oni challenge, featuring not many charting surprises among the other 7* Oni songs of the genre.

talking Subete ga F ni Naru: The Perfect Insider (3/5/5/8; 384 notes on Oni)

Game Version 5.07's last Anime song is also the highest-rated of the bunch on the Oni side, featuring an average quantity of 1/16 small clusters under an easy-to-handle scrolling speed.

Tooriyo (トオリヨ)Tezuka feat. Kagamine Rin/Kagamine Len (3/5/6/8; 664 notes on Oni)

Lokamp's choice for the totally legit "MY EARS ARE BLEEDING" award for CreoFuga '16 songs, Tooriyo sports a surprising number of cluster and repetition-chained notechart portion under a speedy-paced BPM, for an Oni challenge where 1/16 charting is the norm

 Houkago☆Magician (ほうかご☆マジシャン)Marine Base (4/6/6/8; 585 notes on Oni)

We've seen how magicians dream in the past, now it's time to see how they fare after school! Compared to the update's other 8-star Oni songs, Houkago☆Magician perfectly sits in the middle in terms of difficulty degree, thanks to its average amount of notes/clusters and the occasional curve balls in terms of pattern timing/spacing tricks.

If the singer sounds familiar to you, that's because we've already heard of her in Taiko gaming! Behind the alias of Marine Base, in fact, lies Mariko Takei (真理子武井), already singer of Namco Original super star shooter as part of the Her Ghost Friend unit. On Twitter, she also posted the song's lyrics (link) for those who are interested!

V Version Update: Popular Song Pack 11 and 2nd DLC Poll Winners' Second Wave

The title is quite self-explanatory, so go see what's new after the jump!

Popular Song Pack 11
  • talking New!
  • Bad Apple!! feat. nomico New!
  • Gin no Ishi Super Arrange Ver. (銀 の意志 Super Arrange Ver.) New!
  • Sotsu Omeshiki
  • Shikou no Ran New!
Another hail of console debuts is approaching fast! Coming out next Thursday (March 3rd), V Version's 11th Popular Song Pack stands out for a couple of reasons; first of all, as opposed to the previous official announcements, only the 2nd-placed song of the Falcom song poll made it to March's DLC pack (with the Gurumin track possibly coming the month after). The other relevant point is that both songs of the 2nd wave of DLC song winners made it into March's DLC pack!

For the sake of acknowledgement, the two winners in question are the Touhou Arrange song Bad Apple!! feat. nomico and Zeami's Shikou no Ran.

(and yes, one of the winners is a Namco Original instead of an Anime song, as previously speculated. My apologies...)

Even after all Puzzle and Dragons songs retreated from current games, the still very 3DS1-centric Taiko no Tatsujin Dungeon in the smartphone game will be made a fixture via the Coin Dungeon system among some other collab dungeons, all while adding Maple (Vita1) and Takkun (3DS2) to the fray, maybe to make things more current?

Song of the Week! 27 February 2016

If we do not talk about this song now, we would have to wait four more years to make the title association. Who knows if we can stay up for another four years (fingers crossed for it though)? And so in occasion for the very rare happening next Monday, here we are talking about...

 366 Nichi (366日)
Version
Taiko 12.5x3 (98)x3 (147) x5 (213)x7 (390)
Taiko Plusx2 (98)x3 (147) x5 (213)x7 (390)
 Taiko 12.5, Taiko Plus
 76
 none
 366day

When talking about the concept of "366 days", most people should associate with the occurence of leap years, a year with an extra day (as February 29) to balance out the tiny differences in orbit and calendar years because Earth's orbit hates round whole numbers. Except the song has nothing to do with this though. Whoops.

Anyway, speaking of the sentiments of a female recollecting of her previous lover even after parting ways, 366 Nichi is the almost-solo work Izumi Nakasone (仲宗根泉) of the band HY, down to the composition, lyrics and singing performance. The song is used as the theme song for the drama and movie Akai Ito (赤い糸), which is adapted from the cell-phone novel of the same name.

HY, by the way, is banded together by five old friends whose acquaintances started in high school, with Nakasone (keyboard, vocals), Hideyuki Shinzato (新里英之; guitar, vocals), Shun Naka (名嘉 俊; drums, rapping) Shinsuke Kyoda (許田信介; bass) and Yuuhei Miyazato (宮里 悠平; guitar). The name came from the initial of the five's hometown of Higashi-Yakena (東屋慶名), in Uruma city of central Okinawa. That connection also goes on to inspiring their own label Higashi-Yakena Construction (東屋慶名建設, not to be confused with actual construction companies). A peculiar perk of the band is that they almost exclusively release albums and no singles; 366 Nichi is, for example, first included in the band's 5th album HeartY in 2008.

The main feature that makes 366 Nichi notable is the scroll speed troll, exclusively on Oni: it starts with half-speed for most of the chart, and then it accelerates towards the end to a maximum of 4x speed. It becomes a catch-22 to balance whether to play normal and struggle with reading crunched up clusters for a majority of the chart, or set Double Speed and risk facing the last notes in 8x scroll speed and possibly miss. The Go-go Time settings in Oni is also different from other difficulties, and is perhaps one of the earliest instances of playing with the fireworks effect.

Other than these, the pattern is actually pretty manageable as a modern ★7 (and a slightly harder ★7 in AC12.5), when it is only simple 16th clusters at 76BPM, or equivalent to 8ths at 152BPM, with some even groups mixed in to test your off-beat processing skills.

Super Taiko 3D Deka (26/02/16)

While not being choke-full of content like most of 2015's broadcasts, this year's first Taiko Team livestream session sure had some aces up on its sleeves, in forms of artist cameos (...sort of) and some surprises along the way, all packaged with the usual degree of cheese of the broadcasting series.

Enough filling your eyes with big-sounding words! Here's what happened during the last Friday.

Continuing the tradition, the first 45-minutes of the run were about Etou and the other livestream hosts interacting with the fans and testing the equipment for the real, subsequent portion. This time around, for "fan interactions" we also include random surprise headbanging action while Daifuku answers one of the Nicovideo spectators' question, blissfully unaware on what's happening on her left.

What has been the main focus, however, is the appearance of a very special signature plate, which is going to be given to the lucky winner of the upcoming Taiko tournament at the Huis Tech Bosch amusement park, currently scheduled on March 19th this year.

It's a very valuable item which includes signatures from all people involved in Taiko gaming, from livestream hosts to notecharters to even NAMCO SOUNDS personalities like Linda Ai-CUE, Taku Inoue, ryo, kyo, Ayano Yasuda (of Kimi no Akari fame) and others!

The pre-livestream portion ended right after the autograph board's showing, featuring the welcomed return of a video series during the break: Audio Deka!

Takemoto and Masubutchi's drama adventures full of cheese have made their triumphant return during the livestream's two breaks, featuring the episodes that were broadcast last year. Luckily for us, some kind soul on Youtube has posted the single episodes before and now we have the full trilogy uploaded online in a 15-something video! See the video below for all the audio detective action you'll ever need.

As a brief disclaimer, this livestream has seen the debut of the third episode ("SEASON 3") in a Taiko broadcast, as it was previously featured during a separated NAMCO SOUNDS livestream session on USvideo last year.

At the livestream's official beginning, as usual, we are greeted to the usual Comment Challenge reward board, and...

...ladies and gentlemen, we already have a (negative) first-time result to report for this broadcast; after 11 successful comment challenges, this is the very first one whose goals have not been completely achieved by the audience, as the total comment count barely passed the 50k milestone. On the flipside, Classic song Mars isn't leaving Taiko Chogouka-Ban's songlist, if you want to play it on console grounds!

For the livestream's first topic, we also had a temporary host change, from Masubutchi to... a Tatsu-Don cardboard cut-out? Seems legit.

Anyway, we're into Taiko World Championship 2016 talk once again! Nothing much has changed since the announcement of the core tournament's Preliminary/Area Elimination mechanics from Tokaigi and World Hobby Fair '16 talk, so we'll just forward you to our previous Quick Takeaways on the topic to catch up with the schedule situation as of now.

Then what's new this time, you may ask? For one, we're finally given the release date of the remaining CreoFuga '15 winning songs on Japanese White Ver. arcades! Rather than adding them one per week, the songs are going to be delivered in couples (and triplets!) in 5 different weeks, with April's release dates already pinned out and the May ones still unknown.

Another new tournament-related feature being introduced is one that will make more victorious people join the fray at the Finals! Below is the situation as we knew it so far, with the two main divisions' Finalists and the Taiko winner ot the 2nd Tenkaichi Otogesai accessing the finals.

Here's instead the new picture, featuring two new categories of people that will be able to compete together with the other contestants of the Middle-and-upper division!

The new division in red is the Losers' Bracket, where all losing contestants from the Preliminary phase have another chance of joining the Area Elimination by scoring high in a future online tournament! Said event should happen in June, right before the Area Elimination phase' beginning.

With the Last Chance Qualifier (in green), an additional player among everyone else has the chance of directly accessing the Finals by achieving the first place of yet another online tournament! Also appening in June, this bracket will start right after the Area Elimination phase.

The Finals' battle structure should look like this, with the division's finalists at the bottom in matches of 4 players and two special figures that will automatically access the quarter-finals. One is the Taikai winner, but the other one...?

Away from tournament dynamics, we're going to have another side event for Banapassport players which will net extra goodies to all participants! This event will last from April to June.

Much like for the Taikai tournament, all Banapassport players will be able to collect tickets for the unlocking of special content at their own profile page at Donder Hiroba. For this event, there are three new songs and 20 tourney-related title parts! We'll talk about the songs in more detail later on.

In this event, tickets are earned by either simply imputing a credit (1 ticket per day) or playing songs from the CreoFuga '15 winning tracks (1 ticket by selecting a song, 2 if it's cleared), earning up to 5 tickets per play. When claimed on Donder Hiroba, the tickets gathered are automatically spent into one of the new songs (if there are any available), with the cost for the title partes rounded down to 1 in case of odd quantities of spare tickets.

See the picture below for a visual sum-up of how tickets are automatically spent!

Playing during April and May alone with the latest CF songs will also earn another kind of monthly unlock! By playing on April there's a Tiger Petit Chara for everyone, while the Dragon PC will be awarded to May players. The Team still hasn't got a definitive name for both, so feel free to punch in your suggestions to their Twitter account!

The tourney-related talk is finally done, and with that is the Tatsu-Don cardboard, as another recurrent livestream host is flexing his most plastic pose. Welcome back, Kawagen Collagen!

For this livestream, he's here to share bits of new Namco Original songs with the Team and the audience, all of which are future rewards for the aforementioned ticket-based event of the World Championship 2016. Right below you can find a textual recap of the portion, but we actually are in luck as the whole portion (with song previews, no less!) was uploaded on Youtube! The video is further below.

Each of the clip previews featured the song's beginning followed by some comments of the song's singer while the song's instrumental base still playing in the background. The songs' composers also left their impressions of their works but mostly in paper form, being read before the song.

The first track in line is Princess of Donder, sung by Erica Kaibo (海保えりか) and composed by MOES, who has pointed out the hentai genre lore as being the source of inspiration for his track's creation (...really, I'm not joking). Up next was Kaneko Chiharu's Shonin YokkQ, featuring the voice of another CreoFuga contest-winning Namco Original, Tsundere Cafe e Youkoso☆. The last one was Harunaba's Ghost Mask, starring voice actress Chihiro Ishiguro (石黒千尋) in both her real self and her Vocaloid version in Yuzuki Yukari!

Finally, here's this lengthy portion for all of you to enjoy:

After a 2nd Audio Deka break (and Masubutchi returning), we jump back to White Version talk with a proper introduction to Tokkun Mode (特訓モード).

Tokkun Mode will require more than a regular credit to access, as it requires a Banapassport account which has been charged with a (still un-clarified) amount of Banacoin. Further slides (listed below) underline that the Banacoins can be charged only to Banapassport cards which are already linked to a proper Bandai Namco ID.

Tokkun Mode can be accessed in the arcade's very first menu after inserting one regular credit, as the rightmost option of said menu. Selecting this mode will fix the time of playing with 10 minutes of gameplay in Tokkun mode, followed by a regular song play among the ones available in public arcades on that day.

The in-game screens -as you can see below- highly resemble the ones of previous console games' Training mode, only with a coat of paint from the Dojo Ranking-styled visuals. Alongside returning functions like fast-forward/rewind and autoplay, Tokkun Mode will allow players to try out songs at different BPM speeds, as well as keeping track of the note hit percentage for the three accuracy evaluations (Great, Good and Miss). A handy counter for the leftover time in Tokkun Mode appears on the top-right corner of the screen.

It's also important to mention that Tokkun Mode might not be available in all White Version arcades due to operators' personal preferences, as well as being a selectable option only during specific time frames, with the "default" ones being from opening time to 12 am and from 5 pm to closing time.

This concludes the Tokkun Mode talk, leading the Team to reiterate recently-announced news on the arcade grounds, starting with Game Version 5.07 deatils. Among the features mentioned, the one that was not advertised at all before is the inclusion of new unlockable outfits: a relaxed Korosensei (available by playing QUESTION) and the Kamen Rider Ghost... Rider (unlocked by playing Warera Omou, Yue ni Warera Ari).

Following this was the opening announcement of White Version's Special Title Parts Gacha, which will be discounted to 100 points per pull thanks to the Comment Challenge's 3rd goal being conquered by the viewers.

Following this was the talk of March's monthly unlocks (already featured in one of last Thursday's Taiko Blog entries), together with another much-appreciated return! ...

That's right: technical issues! While at this point I'd normally throw in a random mountain-y Internet reference, for this one I don't need to- Etou plugged in a small meme by reacting in Engrish! Tens of "Nice mountain." comments flowed on-screen upon said comment from the Taiko Team leader.

In more serious tone, next March will see the return of several campaigns of the past, such as the Taikai ticket-collecting event. If you're still missing one of the 2 songs or any special Petit Chara, here's your second chance!

The still-running Taiko x Love Live! collaboration event will also get a time extension to the entirety of the month of March! For those who still lack some of the promo Petit Charas, each LL! gacha pull will also net double the unlocks in the next month.

The last voices left to check for the "obligatory reminders" corner are the extended Taiko collaboration with EXILE and MyBachi being able to be booked on online websites like Amazon. We've already talked about bothtopics extensively, so let's move on.

Our last bit of news for the livestream concerns White Version arcades once again, as they're going to have some never-heard-before songs next month!

First, we had the announcement of another couple of songs from IOSYS personalities coming to Taiko arcades as part of the God Collection custom folder, already hosting the Taiko debut works of aran and Massive New Krew.

And with Masubutchi making a dramatic undressing to his Audio Deka attire, another Namco Original is announced in for of a new 'de' series song about the Audio Deka segments!

We're in luck once again, as you can hear some bits of the three incoming Namco Originals by watching this video about the arcade announcements portion! Just start at 12:46 to avoid the rest.

Closing the stream is the usual discussion with the audience about the latest livestream-spawn title, with Dangerous (やばい) trumping the fierce competition of memes and Audio Detectives!

Darkwing Duck would be so proud.

With that, another livestream session with the Team is over! While not breaking every comments goal sure is a downer for arcade goers, it surely had its high points, hasn't it?

See you next time. Audiós!

Behind the Drums: Yuhei Etou

The current leader of the Taiko Team, Yuhei Etou (江藤裕平) was born on June 29th, 1985 and spent his childhood in the Kanto prefecture, where he grew on appreciating the Taiko no Tatsujin series as an early player during the school years. Hired by former Taiko Team leader Takahashi as a notecharter during Taiko 12 Zoryoban's launch window, he succeeded to his master's role roughly some time after the second Wii game's release.

Among his new roles as the new face of the Taiko Team are the management of the Taiko series' official blog updates, arcade/console games supervision and industry directive-related roles, as well as making charts for new songs from time to time. He's also the most recurrent-appearing member in public events for everything related to the gaming series (livestream/tournaments/arcade launches/variety TV shows), signing himself under an alternative way to spell Etou in Japanese (エトウ). He also happens to be in good acquaintance with some of the series' most recurrent external composers, such as Tatsuya Shimizu. As revealed by Etou himself in one of the Taiko Team livestream sessions, he got married by the end of 2014.

As a notecharter, Etou's approach is inspired by the concept of "challenge songs that feel like fit for hard difficulties", putting his efforts on creating charts that while elegible to be cleared in many degrees, they stimulate players to aim for a Full Combo on any difficulty. This philosophy often leads him adding visually-striking features to his notecharts like large notes and multiple BPM/scrolling changes, although he has made a name of himself as a flexible notecharter for both easy and hard Oni modes. Much like Kuboken (くぼけん), his Oni notecharts usually tend to have special-numbered Max Combo values, such as same-digit totals and Namco/Bandai goroawase shenanigans (765/876). While he usually takes less than 1 month to fully chart a song, he may require more than a month for selected songs like Joubutsu 2000. Due to his high position in the Taiko games franchise, Etou isn't used to chart songs with the same frequency anymore.

His profile picture above references his "harder notecharting side" with the so-dubbed 'Etou Beam', an infamous note-dense charting portion he made (with Nicovideo spectators) for Hurtling Boys's Oni mode (stanzas 55-56).

 Rin (凛) a_hisa (3/4/6/9; 672 notes on Oni)

The first of March in 2016 marks a milestone day for overseas Taiko players, as not-Japanese White Version machines are claiming dibs on a new song's debut earlier than Japan for the first time in the current arcade generation! One of the Donder's Choice winners in the latest Taiko-oriented CreoFuga contest, Rin's Oni mode sports any differient cluster formations to closely follow the piano and violin portion of the track. Watch out for the usual 1/24 traps and the gradual slow-down portion towards the end!

As a quick reminder, Japanese White Version arcades are also receiving something today as well, with the songs SORA-I Earth Rise and SORA-II Gliese 581 getting released in all public arcades after the MyBachi promotional period's ending.

New songs for portable Taiko gaming chime in, as the month of March begins! This time around, we have four songs reaching both the Apple and Google Play-based apps: two J-Pop tracks (Kimi ni Sakura-hirari To Mau; Oh! Rival) and two Namco Original tunes (Mulberry; Yozakura Braiders).

As usual, the latest update is required to see and play the new songs (for Plus STH that's Version 1.0.2, which was released earlier today).

Thanks to some kind signalations from wikihouse users, we can now confirm that DLC support from the Chinese version of the first ever-growing Playstation Vita game hasn't been dropped as of now! It just happens that new exclusive licenses don't seem to lurk around...

For the past months, the not-Anime and J-Pop songs that have been released on the Japanese V Version were made available on the Chinese Playstation Network as individual pieces of download,  priced HK$10/NT$43 each (save for Seize the Day, which is free), all in the same day of the respective Popular Song Pack's release day in Japan. We'll update the V Version song list with the updated data as soon as possible.

English translation
Hey, tell me

You say I'm strange? What are you joking about
I was still making sure of your words
Blindfolded instead of the usual greeting
I just want to be touched by you

Even from fortune-telling the compatibility is on point
Beautifully harmonizing in karaoke too
Even I think we are more than just friends, I still want to convey to you
But because that I think so, I can't convey to you
There is something missing, which I cannot understand even asking a mentor

Hey, tell me, what say we be good friends
Hey, tell me, with your wordsHey, tell me, even though I know
Hey, tell me, this feeling

By the time that flowers bloom
I believe that we will get together, right?

Let us kiss? What are you joking about
I was still making sure of your thoughts
Even I think we are not yet lovers, I still want to convey to you
But because that I think so, I can't convey to you
There is something too much, which I cannot understand even asking the gods

Hey, tell me, after I graduate
Hey, tell me, can I be by myself?
Hey, be near me, always always always always
Hey, hug me, hug me more and more and more and more

By the time that flowers bloom
I believe that I get together, still

Gin no Ishi Super Arrange Ver. (銀の意志 Super Arrange Ver.)The Legend of Heroes: Sora no Kiseki SC (4/5/6/8; 626 notes on Oni)

Making its Taiko debut with this month's downloadable song pack for Taiko V Version is the 2nd-placed song from the Falcom poll, coming from yet another title of the Legend of Heroes series. While the average-low BPM value may grind Oni ratings down, it's another 1/16 note cluster festival where everyone can enjoy a variety of interlocking patterns and drumrolls!

As macabre as this tradition may sound, we are called up (once again) to prepare the burial grounds to yet another licensed song that is going to be removed from its arcade grounds, with no other ports in other Taiko games to take the spoils after the White Version removal.

This time around, the trend is coupled with another returning feature: copyright-dodging audio distortion magic!

Between the first Wii U game and Taiko Kimidori's launch, 3rd generation Taiko games' Anime genre has carefully started to feature themes from sports-related Anime series, a topic already digressed in many Japanese manga/animation series in the past decades but never really hitting the bulls-eye on rhythm game grounds. Among the first tracks we have FUTURE FISH, a quite fitting title considering that it comes from an Anime about swimming!

The Slice of Life Anime Free! is quite the rare breed of Japanese animation, as it's one of the few ones where the literary work from which it originates doesn't share the Anime's title! In fact, this is a series spawn from the 2011 light novel High Speed! (ハイ☆スピード!), written by the pen-named Kōji Ōji (おおじ こうじ). The light novel is about the story of four long-date classmates -Haruka, Makoto, Nagisa and Rin- who met each other upon winning a swimming tournament right before their elementary school graduation. Years later, the four boys are reunited around their high school period and decide to open a swimming club for the institute, with the group working day after day on the precarious balance between gaining fame for the club and clearing unsolved accounts between the boys.

After getting an honorable mention at the 2nd Kyoto Animation Award contest in 2011, the High Speed! novel became the source material of a couple of Anime series that ran between 2013 and 2014, with the original light novel being commercially available to buy on June 8th in 2013 (5 days before the first Anime series' premiere). Following the Anime's success (and North American localizations by the hands of 4 different companies!), the universe of Free! got expanded with an OVA and a movie in 2015, as well as a proper sequel to the High Speed! light novel.

FUTURE FISH is the ending theme of Free!'s 2nd season, Eternal Summer. Under the fictional name of STYLISH FIVE, the show's main characters are the actual singers of the song, featuring the dubbing talents of Nobunaga Shimazaki (島﨑信長), Tatsuhisa Suzuki (鈴木達央), Miyano Mamoru (宮野真守), Tsubasa Yonaga (代永翼) and Daisuke Hirakawa (平川大輔). Replacing the Japanese dubber of Gou Matsuoka in the show Akeno Watanabe (渡辺明乃) for this ending theme, Miyano Mamoru has also been heard on Taiko grounds as one of the main singers for Maji LOVE 2000%.

Diving into FUTURE FISH's Oni chart, the 6-star quota is fulfilled with an array of mono-color clusters and hit-balloons under a BPM dangerously lingering into high speed material, while still being fit enough to break note sections with no sweat. This is also one of the songs where the Go-Go Time portion outlasts the regularly-paced sections in time length!

The official scoop will be available on the upcoming issue of Famitsu to be released on March 10, but that doesn't stop Donders and us looking in their preview tweet and website post for new songs first-hand!
